About Smart Food NY
Smart Food NY, originally founded as Smart Distributor in 1981, originated in Manhattan, New York, and is currently still operating here serving the New York Metro Area. As a Manhattan food supplier, we pride ourselves on providing consistent taste and service for our food items and supplies to our vast network of cafes, bakeries, grocery stores, supermarkets, offices, restaurants, and distributors. We make sure to source our items from around the world, both locally and in other countries in order to ensure our customers get the best quality supplies for their businesses.
The Martinson coffee and its custom blend for our company has been served to our customers since 1951. Its blend has roots in the Martinson Coffee Factory in Greenwich New York, before being replaced and rebuilt into Robert De Niro’s Tribeca Film Center. Despite moving its coffee facilities, this coffee has kept its consistent aromatic blend and universal taste. Today, many customers still seek out places to eat that specifically carry our coffee.
When the company first opened, it began servicing and supporting restaurants and other food establishments in its local community, as one of the top Chinatown wholesale food distributors. Today, Smart Food NY is still a reliable NY food supplier to metro NY businesses, old and new.
